چکیده
This work proposes a detectability condition for linear time-varying systems based on the exponential dichotomy spectrum. The guarantees existence of an observer, whose gain is determined only by unstable modes system. allows observer design with low computational complexity compared to classical estimation approaches. An extension this class nonlinear proposed, and local convergence corresponding error dynamics proven. Numerical results show efficacy proposed technique.

Reduced-order State Estimation for Linear Time-varying Systems
We consider reduced-order and subspace state estimators for linear discrete-time systems with possibly time-varying dynamics. The reducedorder and subspace estimators are obtained using a finite-horizon minimization approach, and thus do not require the solution of algebraic Lyapunov or Riccati equations.
متن کاملFinite time stabilization of time-delay nonlinear systems with uncertainty and time-varying delay
In this paper, the problem of finite-time stability and finite-time stabilization for a specific class of dynamical systems with nonlinear functions in the presence time-varying delay and norm-bounded uncertainty terms is investigated. Nonlinear functions are considered to satisfy the Lipchitz conditions. At first, sufficient conditions to guarantee the finite-time stability for time-delay nonl...
متن کاملNoise Covariance Estimation for Time-Varying and Nonlinear Systems
Kalman-based state estimators assume a priori knowledge of the covariance matrices of the process and observation noise. However, in most practical situations, noise statistics are often unknown and need to be estimated from measurement data. This paper presents a new auto-covariance least squares method for noise covariance estimation of linear time-varying and nonlinear systems. The new algor...
متن کاملTime-Invariant State Feedback Control Laws for a Special Form of Underactuated Nonlinear Systems Using Linear State Bisection
Linear state bisection is introduced as a new method to find time-invariant state feedback control laws for a special form of underactuated nonlinear systems. The specialty of the systems considered is that every unactuated state should be coupled with at least two directly actuated states. The basic idea is based on bisecting actuated states and using linear combinations with adjustable parame...

By considering the current components in Figs. 7, it is evident that the dynamic compensations (/xf,) constitute by far the largest share of the input currents. It is therefore desirable to include/x^, for precise trajectory tracking. If the dynamic compensation iersnfxti is neglected, for a controller with comparable gain settings to the computed torque controller, the tracking performance det...
